I am told that inverters with build in chargers must have a special function for lithium batteries, otherwise it can overcharge and become a problem.
Sort of yeah, but drop in lithiums generally work

Champion 100ah 12V Lithium Battery

The website does not specify what charging voltage is required. However, on the photo it appears to be 14.4 volts to 15 volts. The photo quality is bad.

and it doesn't seem to be lithium at all...

Or they've used the wrong photo ( 6FM100G in pic, 6FM100L in description).
Yeah, not a lithium:
1665499036832.png Should be 12.8V if its lithium
1665499060313.png Lithium is about half the weight
1665499080034.png The final nail in the coffin. Too cheap for lithium and a rip off price for LA. Stay away from this store imho.

Is 13.47 volts on battery 1 and 13.59 volts on Battery 2 that's connected in series normal?

It's a LFP batteries with a balancer

I am under the impression it's meant to be a equal voltage on both batteries?

It should, I think it’s a **** balancer. Not a train smash though as it’s only at high voltage that it can be a problem but the balancer should work better then as it works on voltage difference so I wouldn’t worry.

It's a victron balancer , thought it's a good balancer
