MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries – Mindless mech amusement

You coward !!!
They want me to help them, I've helped them for 9 missions prior, my other mechs are in pieces costing me a fortune to repair, I had to pull in resources to get these last 2 missions done. They can take a bit of a pounding, I need to have my mechs and crew okay as well. Plus I did go and mop up what they couldn't.

Still one of the best intros :), though mechwarrior 2 was better
To me the intro and outro combinations in Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries are some of the best as they bookend the game perfectly.

Wow brings back memories :)

Here is the poor win cut scene.

Man I forgot how cheesy FMVs actually looked, but then again I am replaying Tiberian Sun right now and wow Westwood could cheese it up.

Been going through the DLCs man they make them hard, you need to try core or headshot mechs as quick as possible

I would recommend finding the Slepnir Cyclopse Hero mech. That is probably the best sniping mech in the game. Another option is to do the mission set for the Argincourt hero mech and have your lance mates distact attention and then hit enemy mechs from behind.

Yeah I need to finish the Dragons Gambit first :-( once you're in a DLC mission set you cannot deviate. Though I do have 2 Atlases that are setup as decent sniper platforms, plus a catapult setup for looooong range missile delivery.
I take in a Dragon equipped with AMS, the hero Victor Basilisk with it's Guardian ECM and the catapult and atlas, problem with this current mission the Victor is out for a few more days, he kinda took a massive knock in a mission so he's been out for 14 days and it's 3 days between missions :-(. So without his ECM it's been a bit tougher.
Especially this mission to protect the drop ships. I had my atlas cored :-(

I finished that DLC running a stock Atlas D since all the cool toys were in for repairs.

That would be tough :) I am currently on a not so stock Atlas D everything is tier 5 on it, but man it still took a beating. Going to need to change my strategy.
