What hardware do i need to connect my pc and tv and be able to access all my content through my tv?

i think you need to get a tv card.

You only need a TV Card for the PC if you want PVR functionality. Then it has to be one of those TV Cards that are compatible with Media Center, which has onboard mpeg2 encoding.

If you just want to use Media Center to watch your movies which is on your PC on your TV, then all you need is some RCA cable, and video out on your video card. You can use an svideo cable as well, if you have all the connectors. I'm sure you will be able to find an in depth guide if you ask Google.

Thanks, I did actually first try google but for some reason couldn't find a proper guide. I have the PVR150 from Hauppauge, but haven't been able to get it working. It however isn't the MCE version, now i am looking to see what can i get with the least amount of trouble to get it working

I have a PVR150 MCE and it works amazingly well. My MC tapes all my tv while im out or at work and I can watch in the evening.
