Media does it again to sell newspapers...

Yet again the media has blown something way out of context just to sell a few extra newspapers.

They just cause more and more tension between races with these absurd statements and stories. Why don't they get statements from both parties before going to print. Damage has already been done.

The "leader" of the kidnappers is an old commando and they train high school kids and adults in defending themselves and their families. No-one is being kidnapped and the police and army knows about these camps and also approved it.

The kid that apparently was abducted, lied to his parents and also the instructors of the camp.

Nobody checked the true version. The media just wanted to sell some extra newspapers.

I really do agree. They just print anything they want and the next day they cover up the story by printing the truth. By this time the damage has been done and we've already got lots more racial tension because of incompetence, greed and the search for sensantion.

All I have to say is that if that camp was composed of Muslims, there would not be such understanding from this forum.

Learning to defend yourself and family should be mandatory...

Linking this to some racial issue is unnecessary, people need to know how to defend themselves.

And NO, being a keyboard warrior won't be sufficient when a hijacker places a gun to your head or fires some rounds at you!

Any race is capable of extremist behaviour. Look at history. But I must say that some are more prone and more extreme than others.
