MediaBox - Any reviews on the mediabox smart media player

Anyone have the Mediabox smart media player?

Does DSTV and Kodi run well on it. No issues? Can you install Kodi extensions like Exodus etc.

Its on sale on loot.co.za and thinking about getting it or getting a mate to build me a rasberry instead.

Just bought one from Loot. Dstv and Kodi (Exodus) works well. No issues

Crikey no.

Distinct lack of information. I had to troll around on their website just to find out the following:
Still running Android 4.4. (KitKat upgrade coming in 2017......)
No details on what formats it supports either. H.265 support?
If it's running Android 4.4 I doubt it will run Kodi 17. or have H.265 support.

I'd stay far away.

Reckon i can run supersport and dstv ect. on it? Its actually on sale on one day only today for 1100.

If they are apps then yes, I don't see why not.

You need a DSTV subscription in any case, so why not just use the decoder?
