The not-for-profit group, representing the interests of more than 12,000 medical doctors in South Africa, said that it was concerned about the immunity and efficacy of single-dose vaccinations, such as the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Not only doctors and medical staff, but each and every person will need booster shots. Not only one, but on a continuous basis, whether it is Pfizer or J&J.

“Doctors are emotionally strained, and we are still receiving information on burnout among many of our colleagues. Booster doses will go a long way to send a message to doctors that they are being supported and that their efforts are being recognised,” said Dr Coetzee.

Unfortunately Booster shots will not solve this problem. This is squarely on the shoulders of the ANC. AA, BEE and Corruption in government has caused many thousands of local doctors and specialists to flee the country. You will now find these people working in hospitals and their own practices in the US, Canada, Panama, UK, Europe, Aus and NZ.

Many thousands of our children are now fleeing the country after school and starting to study in Netherlands, France, UK, US, Canada and the likes. They are getting their medical degrees there and most are also staying there permanently.

Nothing can be done about long hours of work, the psychological strain, etc. If it is an issue, pick up and leave the country to another one where you have better working conditions that will prevent burnouts.
