Safe to assume you're male? I don't feel right going out for example to a bar on my own, and just adding myself to a conversation. For starters, I wouldn't possibly know what to say to these strangers. On the other hand, it's probably really awesome to have courage like that and actually get them laughing ... TEACH ME!

yes im male, thats the difference.... its much easier for a male to do such a thing than a female doing such a thing...

and dnt know what 2 say? just make em laugh...they will love u for that.... and how to make them laugh... tell them somethin embarrising...or come up with somethin embarrising either way they will laugh

Snake I have no problem with joining a crowd and talking to them, problem is its after many a tequila :/ I'd rather just meet people whilst being sober, and actually recognizing their flaws and faults instead of thinking "yay, they're having a shooter too!"

ag please dude, ive been round the block and know how to flirt with women, i dont have any problems at all meeting random girls and starting conversations. Thats how ive started all my previous relationships. The only problem i have there is that what you see then is not necessarily what u will get if you persue her. Ive had a few relationships end badly because of not knowing the person well enough before dating. Yes could be a result of not talking enough before committing.
With online dating, you can talk and query things about a person, you can flirt and chat ask questions until both of you are happy to meet.
We have been in comms via sms, and yes i know what she looks like, got many a photo, so theres no issue there, she also knows what i look like. We have also talked over the phone etc. and really keen to meet each other, almost sounds quite serious. So dont be soo bloody negative about online dating, it works, its proven to work, and a few friends of mine found their wives via online dating site. Broaden your horizons man, the internet can be a very useful tool, especially when it comes to finding the right partner.

haha ur actually right, i was looking at it from a purely relationship level, at first thats what I thought kitten may have implied indirectly.
