Oh, and as Wayne suggested earlier, the socials are good too, we had a blast there and I met a lot of people there...including Wayne! :p

considering ur profile has been viewed more times than u have posted, i would say u have created quite a stir....

but i gotta agree with an earlier post of pitbulls....and go along the same lines...
I think u might find most male attention (not jsut here) is not friendship based...adn its exceptionally hard for opposite sex friendships without it getting awkward at some point....

that said, uv been honest about what ur looking for, and if u keep doing that, u will quickly sort out the friendships from the advances...

Well this is the problem ... I have met a few people at pubs and whatnot, but they all seem very confused when they find out i'm looking for friendship. I have been told that I come across in a sexual manner, but even when i'm completely straight with people and say "listen, I want friendship thats all" they still believe theres something more to it .... perhaps I should go join a book club or something!

we are male, everything and anything can be seen in a sexual manner....
like i said, give a social a bash, if u like music start a lets all go to cokefest thread etc... add ppl to ur messaging service/mxit etc... Ur gonna get ppl hitting on you..but most decent guys will realise the advances are not welcome and back off a bit...especially at group socials/IM etc, however if ur at a bar/club....most ppl are there to find a partner.
