Megawan 24dbi antenna - 11 years old ...

I remember getting Megawan in 2000 or so - and had it until they were shut down in 2002.

We never hooked it up to anything else and rented out the house a few later with this thing still stuck on a pole outside in the elements for many years.

I've since moved to another house and was wondering if I could go remove it and use it to connect to JAWUG or whatever it's called? Would 11 years have taken it's toll on the functionality?

Are these things cheap, if it doesn't work?

If you have LOS to a Jawug site that still runs on 2.4GHz, then you can use it.
My sister still uses an old Megawan 24dBi grid to connect to the WUG
