So another buddy of mine has a 2012/2013 ML 350

He wants to add on one of those maintenance service plans

What is a good option and how much is it ?

He said he has service from Merc and after that the services were from merc approved places

Is it worth it also or not cause i know some of them are full of schit

No one can tell without seeing the actual terms and conditions, I don't think they are one standard document.

Very often those plans aren't worthwhile. They're intended for those that are unable to save money themselves as if it's for routine servicing then you should be able to budget appropriately. If it's a warranty then also likely not worthwhile as most of those plans have very low limits placed on major items that in most cases won't even cover the labour for the work so better off self-insuring that risk.

IS this the same buddy that had the issue with the air suspension?

Want the Merc..
Can't afford it so get an old one...
Then worry about the services and stay awake at night about them.

A Merc is like a BMWobbleYou...
German vehicles built for nothing else but being status symbols, not for longevity.
Older Mercs used to last, not anymore.

One does not need a car to prove one's worth to others.

if you had to choose one what would be an ok one

Capitec savings account.

Do you want a service plan, or must it include warranty as well?
The plans I've seen all have ridiculously low limits. The ones that seem more worthwhile, but still don't offer full cover for pretty much anything, were quite a bit over R1k per month back in the day.

yeah sadly that is the truth but you also wont get the drive in any other car compared to a bmw or merc

You have to watch hoovies garage to understand the car ninja, the guy master in fixing German cars, pity he in usa.

I would much prefer that the car wizard has his own channel. I haven't been able to keep watching Hoovies garage, he just seems to always have new cars, and he doesn't really show the process for getting it fixed. Samcrac on the other hand...
