Dear Cell C customers

We sincerely apologise for the network problem you might have experienced this morning. Due to a routing problem early this morning, Cell C customers had problems making and receiving calls and sending and receiving SMS. The cause of the routing issue, which affected less than 5% of the Cell C customer base, has been identified and was corrected by 09:00 this morning and the network is working as it should.

Thanks for the update. I wish VodaScum and emptyN would also keep us informed of problems in an open and honest fashion, using publicly available channels, instead of lying, blaming others (usually Telkom) or flatly denying the existence of problems.

Well done Lars and Cell C. My next cellphone contracts will definitely be with Cell C.

But please hurry up with improving the Whooosh coverage, especially in Lenasia. I personally know of more than 30 people itching to spend their money to get some Whooosh in Lenasia. There are definitely thousands more in our area.
