I was pleasantly surprised when my line was upgraded from 10 to 25Mbps at no cost.

In the end we'll end up with something like a big five.

Probably Openserve, Vumatel, Frogfoot, Metro fibre and Herotel.

Anything smaller will be bought out eventually.

Vodacom will likely buy one or both of the smaller companies on that list

I forgot about Vodacom. I don't see them buying Metro fibre or Herotel though.

Herotel has been buying up small local companies in smaller "dorpies" like crazy.
