This is a recurring issue around South Africa.

These kidnappers are not Spar "employees", but they intently dress as one of the staff members, they is always a "support team" working in tandem, in this video there is three (3) perps, two "workers" and the look-out man. Meyersdal is one of those Spar's that really is very careful about security as a high income neighbourhood opposite the eco-estate, and the residents are always very flashy about it, thats stands out. I think they said they dont even allow Cash@till over R500. That strip mall has been always having problems, especially with the ATM fraudsters, I think its the Standard Bank & FNB atms. Security is always there, everywhere, the car guards are more of "guards/informers" than in any other area. Its a unique sort of area.

This affects all all retail outlets, its a syndicate coming out from the blue light gang, hence the perps, never have name badges on, like the blue light gang, and easy access to the highway doesn't help. Be aware!

As bad as it sounds the timing was absolutely perfect
When people say they looked away for a second and then it happened this is literally what happened

This was a spar employee.
Many crims are insiders, not full time criminals. Insiders who take kickback from a syndicate. Low earners, easily bribed.

Now look at the video and I want you to look at a few things here;

1. There is another "employee" in the butchers uniform following the kidnapper "re-arranging" the meat whilst 50% of the time looking at the upcoming crime scene as if he knows what about to happen and when the kidnapping takes place he looks and does nothing at all, just nonchalant to whats happening and after the fact does nothing at all, even with all the screaming. Afterall, whats most important is to re-arrange the meat

2. You have another looker to the left of the video who is the muscle just in case something happens

Let me tell you what a real employee does, actually look it for yourself. There is lady (not a man) who comes running from over 15m away to come help, look above at my first point. Now the question is what is the role of the woman in black apparently she went to take it up with security. Now I can hear you saying, all salaried employees three or four players of them were acting as unison. Would they all do this whilst been watched by CCTV?

You can not convince four staff members to carry out a co-dominated kidnapping on tape if you gave them R500k each. Not possible, this has happened at many, many retail outlets over the past 2 years.

There is no screaming. Not even the other shoppers are looking in her direction. Even the guy walking by doesn't seem concerned at all.

Everyone, including the mother, going about their business like nothing's happened. If there was screaming or raised voices everyone would be looking in that direction.

So you're saying the spar and cops are lying about it being their employee?

Which is more damaging? Externals tried to commit the crime in our shop or the staff were involved? Are you serious? Nobody but you picked up that there were criminals dressed as employees in the shop despite the fact that these people see each other day in and day out? And you picked this up from a 240p video over long distances?

500k each? Where did you suck that one from. People do more for R10k counting on plausible deniability to be their line.

The kidnapper was known to them. Seriously, stop watching TV

Mduduzi Thobela

Well isnt this something else..... In this spate of kidnappings at retail outlets the police knew that a "kidnapper" was working at a Spar retail outlet ??????? No, I get now it makes sense. The perp was not known to the police for some other criminal activity, just kidnappings of babies at retail outlets. Ofcourse, thats what happened.

It's pretty clear that they is more than one perp, and the headline was preliminary not after investigations.

If you think that a person will kidnap a child in full view of CCTV camera's for R10 000, I just honestly just have to wonder.... Sure, I will agree people are scheming for easy money, in that Spar they is cashiers handling over R10 000 every hour or two, cold hard cash, you think and tell me whats stoping them from holding out for 1/2/3 hours and walking out the door on CCTV with 300% of R10k ????? Let me not even get to the back office millions are handled in retail cash hubs by people who have an opportunity to walk out with that money, I've only heard of 2 instances in which that has happened, in petroleum retail it's almost 5 times higher the amount in cash thats handled.

Listen here, R10k is less than 2 months salary, the sentence is 10 years imprisionment for kidnapping, does it sound logical for anyone to take, does that sound logical to anyone to R10k? Many Spar employees are single parent employees, for R10k they are willing to leave kids, family and assests everything behind for a mere R10K, and have a criminal record and shame of been a criminal etc etc?? I mean its not a long trial when its all on tape

"Plausible deniability" on CCTV as in this thread video? I mean we are not talking about any out there event that happened you are talking about the video thats in this thread? Foolish, im sorry but I am really struggling to understand your post, its just nonsense really, Im just been honest, and Im sorry if you feel offended. It's just pure ......... Let me not say it. You live in a completly different world really, or you just been combative.

Yeah it was over week ago...........When you looked at the thread headline it was already a week ago. Thats what about im on about. "It;s confirmed'? You really sure about that are you not? One employee was arrested, just one.... Did you even look at the video? We dont really use our brains in this country...

So they fired a person who was not employed by them?

No we don't, you are a clear example, claiming it was not even a spar employee. We can't even consider the validity of the rest of your argument because if your primary lie.
