Was about to ask if someone dropped the sales report off a cliff. The lower sales are to be expected. Android and ios does th job just fine.

I love Windows phones and I'm a huge Microsoft fan but even I moved over to Android now. Unfortunately many of the apps that I need aren't available for Windows phones. It's a shame.

There's even a newer build available.

Satya is giving WP10 3 years to decide which I think is fair:

http://www.businessinsider.com/microsoft-ceo-windows-phone-in-3-years-2016-4

Just like how with Surface we were able to create a category. Three years ago most people would have said, "What is a two-in-one?" And now even Apple has a two-in-one. And so three years from now, I hope that people will look and say, "Oh wow, that's right, this is a phone that can also be a PC."

UWP app developers are increasing and with Project Centennial and the Windows 10 anniversary update things are looking very rosy for WM10 some years down the line.

Pity because they had great features on the one hand like you can manage your kids phone but on the other hand it was a bit behind time compared to android and IOS.

If MS stops trying to be Apple and be a PC, and make the phone a wild west device then I think I will be able to overtake iOS. They need to think PC and not iOS, and make an open device that we can do anything you want without restrictions. O' wait Google already did that.

Yeah, unfortunately at this time the OS is an issue, but as WM10 matures it should become less of a problem.

I don't remember that Google has made an open device (or product) that we can do anything we want without restrictions. Which one is it so I can order?

This is the biggest problem M$ is facing with their phones.
