Nice idea, but expensive in the long run. We own a small business, and it cost us around R1400 for Office Home and Office IIRC - and it's ours, offline and forever. The cost of renting Office isn't feasible in that regard.

If you buy the latest copy for multiple people each year it starts to make more sense.

Piracy or open source for me. They can keep this crappy rental deal.

Does anyone have a link to the actual product?
No that is not the MyBB way. You'll have to make do with links to company profiles & pictures of the people named. Useful links are strictly VERBOTEN in articles.

Pricing:

User guide:
http://www.globalmicro.co.za/Portals/0/brochures/Office-On-Demand_User_Guide_7.pdf

Trial:
http://www.globalmicro.co.za/OfficeonDemandSignup.aspx

All the vox telecom stuff is 404ing, but since its all resold anyway it should be similar everywhere. No idea how reliable globalmicro is btw.

Also, the headline is bullsht too. You can't actually get anything for R90...because that excludes the compulsory 1 gig storage...which is why it changes to R139 half-way through the article.

What can you do with a gig of storage space?

Dunno really. Sounds like you store all the docs in the cloud by default. Kinda weird since you can get a bunch of gigs MS storage for free anyway. Maybe this 1 gig is somehow a superior quality gig. :p

Is this a full Microsoft Office suite for R90 a month per PC or is per client/company?

Just read on Office 365 that its $6 per month per user. Volume licensing might work out cheaper in the long term.
