Who knows what the reason is, but Chrome is not working well any more.

IE6 made sure I don't ever switch to Edge even if can make my laptop run for 3 days on a single charge.

I did switched back to FF about a year ago as I had some issues with Chrome not starting properly. Logged into my FF sync and it installed my old Greasemonkey and Adblock Plus add-ons. Could not for the life of me figure out why I went to Chrome in the 1st place.

Maybe you should try and see what is happening with Edge? Do you understand what MS has done in developing Edge? Trying to decide what it can and can't do with IE 6 as your reference is just crazy.

Yes I even moved my bookmarks over aswell but it didn't work out. Saw this comment on The Verge

I tried switching to Edge about 2 months ago since it seems like its slightly more responsive than Chrome, but then it randomly crashed after an hour or 2 like it always does. That and it’s just missing a number of basic features that are annoying once you’ve realized you’ve lost them. Moreover, Edge isn’t a cross platform browse while Chrome is everywhere that matters. I don’t see the appeal for Edge outside of people who were already using IE before and Microsoft fans.

I experienced the crashes aswell. It's prolly fixed in the Insider Preview builds but sod it. Going to install Ubuntu on a separate HDD and maybe move over completely soon and run Chrome there. The problem for MS is that W10m doesn't have any marketshare and people want cross syncing bookmarks. Ha!

Its not about what it can or can not do, its about what Microsoft did to the internet and how it ignored standards to force its own idea's. It was so bad that it created a nightmare for anyone that supported anything web related in that time.
