Microsoft System Administrator Position : Pretoria

Dear All

Our company is looking for an MCSA / MCSE qualified person for a senior level System Administrator and desktop support position.

Areas of responsibility:

• Second level Desktop Support (Also assisting desktop support engineers with any issues they cannot fix)
• Server Support (Monitoring, maintenance, new installations, repairs, etc). Also assisting desktop support engineers at remote sites with server support and any escalations or issues)
• Keeping and managing audit and reporting documents for audits, document control etc
• Management of asset lists on desktops and hosted environments
• Assisting with new deployments and rollouts
• Basic Networking troubleshooting etc

We would require the following qualifications:

• A+ (or similar experience)
• MCSA / MCSE 2008 or better (or similar experience)

Experience with the following software:

• All Microsoft Server OS
• All Windows OS
• HP Servers, laptops and desktops
• BackupExec Software
• Some experience with EMC SANs
• SQL Server (installation and setting up backups etc)

We require someone with at least 3 years working experience.
We require a person with their own car.
We require a person to start immediately or in the next two weeks.
The position is in the Pretoria (Menlyn) area.
