Security companies are doing more for Law and Order than SAPS, during the July Riots, it was security companies and ordinary citizens against the mob.

Weak ANC, allows these type of situation to happen daily. The mob must know that violence will not be tolerated. But the ANC gives all mobs free reign to do what they want.

Do you see the one gogo with the brick in her hand?
Aye, one of the projects I am involved with had a disruption and work stoppage by an unhappy "community" when I was on site so I went to chat to the organisers (men) and try and explain that the contractor would get still be paid but all local labour would be terminated and overall there would be less money for the local community.

All was going well until there was a grumbling and shouting of threats from the crowd, the women making most of the noise and picking up stones as well as waving iron bars. The guys I was talking to suggested we get out; immediately. I complied; immediately.

They utterly confused, today is a failure - national shutdown. But you right they must rally for worthy causes.

Gogo is there to support and obviously sell refreshments, scones and cigarettes. It's an event I tell you, maybe I should invest in a boerewors stand to sell at these frequent events. Maybe get it pimped with catchy ANC and EFF logos.

If you do the above and you not black it's not seen in the same light. It's seen as criminal, however when you black person then the above is seen as righteous and a struggle for freedom or worth tolerating. Again the black community is utterly confused and easily manipulated by their own. They stuck in Limbo as they misinformed and beyond reasoning with.

In state owned companies it's more apparent, you see the praise for the most manipulative among them not most bright, honest and hardworking. Not just on floor level but even in middle-senior management.

Yeah that shooting doesn't look too justified. Not sure what happened off camera but the guy just keeps shooting even at the one running away. That's murder.
Number of things at play that led to these individuals getting capped. Among them were that the security had to change from rubber bullets to live ammunition due to these municipal workers had openly fired live rounds on the security guards. As I said before the shot on the one far left looked overboard, however these security guards were armed yet they were attacked, his (the accused) defense can reason their was clear intend to disarm and harm the security. Also there was a heightened sense of fear for their lives after what had transpired before this incident.

Bull. A mob was attacking them and the situation was escalating. Surely you don't expect the security guards to wait until they are dead before defending themselves

Its known criminals incite and hide among mobs as the instability creates opportunities such as this, disarming security stealing weapons and looting shops etc.

If you were standing in the middle of a mob and three or four instigators decides to coerce and hold you responsible for all the wrong in their lives they will certainly throne you with a tyre around your neck and set you alight. They'll stand there and watch you roll in the dust as you scream and die a painful death... @R13... this is not hard to imagine as it has and is happening, now imagine being the security guard knowing all this and being approached in the manner you saw in the clip

They dont want it clean...Filthy is how its liked...A home away from home...
Well it takes far less effort and resources to get the town cleaned than the amount of people employed and time taken by the municipality workers. These are political motivated attacks on the community, the community is not living in a democracy, this is anarchy.

If they dont get their way, then to destroy is seen as the next logical step in the way forward..
Unfortunately things wont change.

Spot on. If is was a democracy, group count and group interests would rule. Yet a small party makes it bad for everybody.

While everybody has a right to protest, its does not include destruction of property, attacking people and violating a gazillion other laws. Yet it's being excused. So are we surprised this continues?
