Middle-income South Africans are recovering financially - FNB

The biggest load of journalistic poo this season.

I’m still in the no income bracket

Likewise and CR's/ANC "new economic empowerment plan" (read overtly racist plan) certainly ain't gonna benefit me one iota, on the contrary....

What is middle class ?
And what do we call upper class borrowing from the middle class ?

I hate to say it this article is so far off the mark its a joke, out of my little circle of friends quite a few got laid off with no hope in sight. The majority got a pay cut , including myself, they also stopped services like our shuttle service meaning I am out an extra R2k in month for petrol let alone the wear and tear on the car, the end result is that it will stay like this for long time still.

I dont know of a single person in our group that has recovered just as yet.

And with future changes to the employment like forced BEE and forcing companies to hire based on race this is becoming a very big problem for years to come, if you were one of the unlocky who was fired during covid.

Maybe they're just prioritising certain things over others.

Very split - some back to full pay, some laid off, some still on reduced pay. Let's see what the 2nd/3rd round effects look like before we get ahead of ourselves

Awesome. Government can now organise a nice event with their Tax celebrate the occasion.

Well I must say this lock down cr@p made me look at my spending habits and I must say I personally hate shops due to the queues we need to stand and practicing social distancing.

I will start spending less and save more than normal.
We also get a bit of extra cash injection working from home so no fuel budget or maintenance on the car, I save about R2k just on fuel currently, but spend much more on coffee being at home :)
