I don't think it was that post that got him deleted. There were others I saw that were just plain troll-posts looking to cause schit. I suspect that once he is considered a spammer or troll, all other posts are removed in the process of removing him from the forum-pool...

No, I would prefer a frosty snowy winter where I can build snowmen and eat hearty stews.

People generally like what they don't experience very often. The cold and snow sucks if you always experience it, and those folks would love the sort of winter that we get.

No, i'm saying that different views should be allowed on the forum and it appears not. I don't see anything in the deleted post that warrants it's deletion. There's much worse being said that ISN'T deleted.

I agree with you and see this happen from time to time.

Here in my 'klein dorpie innie WesKaap' it's currently 30C, no wind, and not a cloud in the sky. The braai fire is lit, and the Tafel Lager is cold. Retirement is good!

To my arms my brother.... to my arms,

The weather has changed up here today, cold overcast along the Namibian coast, but I refuse to go with the flow, trapping around in me shorts and t-shirt whilst the rest of the population are running around in jerseys and windbreakers...... bring it on...... winter schminter.... :wtf:

The cold front is slowly moving in. I think the temp in CT dropped by 5 degrees in the last hour.

I just did a quick google search and here is a photo of the place across the road from my mates place,

I think it was deleted because it was going to stir a pot of shjt for no reason. Intel8080's post wasn't meant harmfully (at least not intentionally, from what I can tell) and then suddenly Morne goes on a tirade about British massacring the indigenous populations almost everywhere. It was simply completely uncalled for in the context of this thread and was going to cause a fight where none was necessary.

Nothing inherently wrong with his post, but there's a time and a place for certain posts and this thread was the wrong place for his.

This was the Nottingham Rd turnoff from the N3 last year August. This was one hell of a snowfall, some parts of the Natal Midlands had snowfields for more than a week!
