Midmar mile this year was again a very well run event on the day, as is normal.
But.......................
Now they can't seem to get there results sorted. For an international event this is just pathetic!
My daughter swam. After numerous calls and requests for her time, they have almost OFFERED her a time we know is incorrect. I timed her at 36 min aprox. She saw a friend get out of the water and cross the line about 30 seconds behind her (we have made them aware of this), and yet in their wisdom, have given her a time 10 seconds behind the friend, that being 37m 22s. Apparently if anyone asks for their time they will "review the video" of the race.
We have objected and have asked for it to reviewed again.
Ridiculous.
anyone else?
Edit: It seems that the time they've attributed to her may actually be correct, making the time of her friend incorrect. Who the hell knows. What a shambles! I also note that they appear to not be confident about the time as it's not loaded on the website yet!
