Hi All,

I tried searching for this topic, but couldn't find a definite answer. I have a 3G mobile router (a Huawei E5372 to be exact), and would like to activate Unotelly. I also have an iPhone, iPad & Apple TV. Will this setup work? If I can't change DNS settings on the router, but change it on the three devices will that work?

Thanks!

Hi gtway

You can manually update the DNS from your iPhone or iPad. Unotelly provides a quick link which updates the DNS as soon as it is opened. I have this link bookmarked and whenever I want to stream I'll open it and voila!

Make sure to update the DNS on the three devices with the address supplied by Unotelly, I believe it is 196.242.94.51 for Cape Town

Ah thanks... So, without this quick link on my Apple TV, I can't use Unotelly there?

You need to set your devices DNS server addresses to those from unotelly, and block some public DNS servers if you want to use devices such as an Apple TV

Try doing that first through your mifi device by manually assigning the DNS servers, and adding static routes, else follow the guides from UnoTelly

EDIT: If you use android there is also an App for updating your IP address (Just make sure you are connected to your mifi)
