Does anyone know what is going on with Mighty Mail (www.mighty.co.za) its been offline for 2 days now. Please anyone who has connections or whatever please follow up.

maybe they are recreating the isp's or there server is offline and being repaired?
 
Webmail was also offline (on the 15 and 16th of July) , due to a server upgrade.

I am not sure if Webmail and Mighty is hosted by the same company.

In any case, I have e-mail accounts at both.

After their server upgrade I do not have POP3 access anymore.

I just spoke to Webmail support.

Mighty mail is part of the portal of Webmail servers.

They say they are experiencing problems after moving their mail servers to Telkom.

Sentech ???

It seems that mighty.co.za is linked into the sentech network some how (their primary nameservers are sentech)

Has sentech bought this lot out? or has it always been so?
 
this is really not funny - they say some accounts are yet to be migrated.... sitting without email at this moment since saturday... - time for yahoo/gmail.

hmm yes - the moment i saw they were using Telkom i pretty much wrote off the account.

Oupa get someone to send you a gmail invite..... thanks heavens thats working just fine for the moment.

Mighty down the tubes?

Sadly Mighty Mail is still not up. My wife and I have been jointly using Mighty as our mail personal accounts for friends, banking, etc information for years.

Can someone from Telkom/Mighty/Webmail confirm if this is permanent? I need to try and tie up loose ends pronto if so, and will in any case abandon MightyMail by next Monday if nothing happens by them.

Thanks for the service so far, but why didn't you move servers off-line and test without doing this live and then "find out the scale of the task" only then?

Can you get in!? Trying to get into Mighty and it keeps saying that it doesn't recognise my username or password [:(]

This is so annoying. My dad and I have had email accounts with them since they were still part of Infosat all those years ago. Grrr.
 
Ok, it has been over 3 weeks and I still can't access my mighty.co.za mail.

You'll notice that Sentech has provided a contact number here.

Don't bother phoning it. All I was told is that there are problems (REALLY?!?!) and technicians are looking at it.

Time for a thread revival... :)

So who else is having issues with Mighty Mail and/or Webmail?

For the last 2 week I have been unable to receive or send any mails through my mighty account.

I have a contact number for them, but it just rings until it cuts off... 011 628 9700 Don't even know if it is still the right number...

I have sent many mails to [email protected], but still no response....

When I log in online, everything else works, but when you click on the mail icon, I just get a blank screen...


Am I the only one with this problem?

If anybody has any ideas, please help.
Where and how do we get hold of these guys????
