Migrated to Afrihost and still no Internet for 3 days today

Dear Afrihost Support Forum,

I migrated to Afrihost on 1 October 2024 and have been unable to connect to the internet since then. Despite speaking with several technical representatives, there has been no resolution or communication regarding my ticket (TLK 979-41651).

Currently, there is a case logged with Vumatel (00303127). A technician visited and concluded that the issue lies with my router. However, Afrihost has rejected this conclusion, noting that the PON light is still flashing on the ONT. The ticket has been reassigned to the Vumatel maintenance partner since yesterday, but I have not received any feedback or responses to my comments on the ticket.

Could you please advise on how I can resolve this issue as soon as possible? Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

We have disputed the ticket, and Vuma needs to assign a tech to the ticket so they can check the fault.
It is a possible fibre break with the PON flashing.
