Mikrotik HAP AC for Wifi networking (YAY or NAY?)

Quick one: I am considering the Mikrotik HAP AC mostly for Wifi networking across the home.

Max distance is about 60m-75m. Thats one end of the house to the other end - with 5 to 6 brick walls in between.

How is the wifi performance of the HAP Ac?

The price is decent - but most online reviews don't mention the wifi performance or range.

had one installed on Monday, for my fiber connection. Wifi seemed very poor or non existent. Had the installer replaced the unit with new one, and this was even worse. Removed all and used my ADSL Netgear router. Better coverage and stable. This is only my opinion.

While Mikrotik are great for wired networking and for outdoor wireless networking, their indoor wireless networking solutions are pathetic.

Instead use a wired Mikrotik unit for routing and a ubnt device as a WiFi AP: https://scoop.co.za/catalogsearch/result/?q=Ubiquiti+UniFi+AP
