It’s about 50% discharged after 2 hours, hard to accurately say.

It’s on sale at the Vodabucks store

Nice find Prof!

32.5Wh/2=16.25Wh
16.25W/2=8.125W per hour

This is why I say you can't take the value on the router power supply as the load, that is just the max output of the power supply and is usually much less in reality, so you see @William1102, it's not 18W, but rather 8W.

Thanks for the insight wingnut771 looks like I’ll take this volkano unit it’s a steal and probably turn off 5Ghz on the router to conserve power

Edit : can you use the vodabucks store as a non Vodacom customer

100%. The power supplies are generaly over spec'd and very off-the-shelf branded items but it is a good guide.

@William1102 I don't think these Mini UPS's have a long life span so don't over-spec and waste your money because you are bound to have to replace them in around 2 years (NB is just my guesstimate).

True you have a good point , this is why I’d rather buy the Volkano @R349 Or on takealot an UltraLan @R499

Battery

Wanted to get this one but the current spec was not nice.

Discharge Current 1.44 A continuous vs 10a or 15a if I remember correctly
Thanks for this. I am looking for something basic to simply keep my air fibre setup going which has the router and a power supply for the dish/receiver? So this should work, correct?
