Minimum Cost

Telkom have a minimal call charge right, e.g. 80c for the first minute or something during peak times. Now if I make a call for 2 minutes, and it costs 50c a minute - do I get charge the price of 2 minutes (50c + 50c) so R1 for the call, or do I pay minimum charge which includes the prices of the first minute i.e. R1.30 (80c + 50c)?

The minimum charge includes the amount of seconds which would be available at that rate, and when the amount ends, per second charges are counted (or per 30-second with cellphones).

yea,ditto to what mad said. You are not paying more for the first minuite(minumum charge), but you have to pay for the full minuite, weather you use it or not.
