Well, new users posting random IP address without context at times of the day when there is little moderation and such.

It did 301 redirect to the MTI site so it's possibly valid but It's not possible to know who is in control of that server. Not sure it's a good idea to visit that because it may very well be malicious in nature, i.e. only doing redirects if a client is not vulnerable to a certain exploit or logging client metadata in order to attempt to exploit at a later point in time.

It just wouldn't have been a very safe thing to do.
Ah, I see.
And @gensix has deleted all his posts?
Three pages worth.

LMAO you are a complete moron. I do enjoy reading your bs though.

It doesn't matter "where" they "host" their website or the physical location of the bitcoin wallet, they will be regulated based on their company location and their citizenship.
The dumb tits actually had the first server they fired up hosted in Houston.

Yes, it seems like it's time. The activity levels have subsided a little, will come back and check on progress in a month or two again.

They never understood the regulatory environment to begin with and that includes even basic compliance with running a business. They say they wish to comply and will do so yet they didn’t even respond to the foreign regulatory bodies despite being very vocal about doing so. Furthermore, what makes you think that MTI being in any other country makes citizens of other countries immune from their own countries regulations? The most basic of even financial regulations that applies to all companies holding any form of asset on behalf of third parties has not even been complied with in terms of an external independent auditor. I hate to break it to you but that’s kind of universal for any incorporated entity worldwide. Ask yourself why a company with billions in BTC aren’t willing to get an independent and recognized auditing company to verify their holdings or managed to even appoint an accounting officer which is required by law?
The whole "bitcoin isn't regulated" is only the most prominent and easy thing for lazy people to grasp as a term. MTI is non-compliant on a number of items in addition to those above.

Can you take legal action against the person that got you into the scheme and you struggle to get your money back?

Last night I started mapping various bitcoin addresses that have been used by MTI previously. I left it overnight and I was excited to see what I had this morning. When I looked at the data you see random addresses with small amounts of satoshi everywhere.

Initially, I thought it was a mistake in my mapping but now I'm wondering if this is more incompetence than intentional. I think in their efforts to obfuscate details, they've lost BTC..

The problem is ... [and yes, this is a "sweeping statement"]:- Many/Most of the lower-downs are probably good people thinking / believing they're doing good. I suppose one can say it's "O.K." losing your own money because of your own stupidity. But imagine being responsible for other people losing theirs!

its not a matter of understanding , its about not caring. they know/think they will get away with it.

The server is in India with the very people who wrote the off-the-shelf pyramid “mlm” software. Hardly a jurisdiction with the protections you think are afforded by them.
India is getting tougher on crypto scams faster than SA at the moment. That aside, I don't think the new regulations are what is causing the flurry of activity in MTI at all. It will take time - possibly months - for new regulations to be promulgated, opened for comment and then passed as law. No, either approximately this time - end of December or during January - has been part of the timetable all along or they have been hastened by their bitcoin flow problem.

I am not even sure that they are moving operations out of SA. It's more likely that some of them have decided that they have to be in a country without and extradition agreement with SA.
