What a bizarre piece of theatre this has been. Full of strange, grotesque characters and some unexpected surprises along the way.

Some highlights off the top of my head:
  • The idea that "Johan Steynberg from Polokwane" is some blockchain industry leader/savant is endlessly funny.
  • "Corporate" - They really love this word
  • The term "Heritage Brand" and also its application to MTI
  • Cheri Marks - I mean she is a truly fascinating creature. I don't even know where to begin
  • The haircuts on all the tannies in the telegram groups
  • The fact that said tannies provided tech support
  • Some guy naming his son after Johan Steynberg
  • All the dads who discovered cryptocurrency through this dumb, blatantly obvious ponzi scheme acting as authorities on bitcoin/blockchain over zoom calls
  • The reveal that Johan had skipped the country
  • The Lindt lore - I'm still not sure where this originated
And many more.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this thread. It has provided much amusement over the last few months.
I am so happy that I can put this obsession to bed

You looked for Marius yet, he was just yesterday telling people to tell their downlines that their BTC is safe, I wonder what he has to say now ?
Him and Werner et co are going to have to revisit their story now. It’s going to get ugly.

Cor cleaned out a couple of weeks ago already, think he must have noticed his name on dishonest.co.za. But he still has his little "5000 families live's changed" bit on there. He sure as hell changed their lives. Now they have nothing. Wonder if he is still going to play Mr Good Samaritan and still help these 5000 families with the R500k plus him and his wife withdrawn from the scam. Not going to be good for his KeyRealty business. This is a small town that don't forget quickly.

I am sure he learned his lesson this time around.

ROFL
I am not so sure about that. It seems that in addition to the need to belong to a cult, some of the serial LOSERS are a version of the "poor me" syndrome. By repeatedly making stupid decisions they can keep asking for sympathy and emotional support from those around them.

Fatbolletjie is a physcopth, a pathological liar, has no remorse, no sympathy no empathy, and is a criminal through and through.
The question in my mind is how “all in” the Ward/Marks go and if they will try salvage the situation or not. In my mind it’ll be over with a perp walk preferably on camera.

Oh come on buddy, did you miss the ROFL part. :p

No one in this cult learned anything except the world took from them what they didn't deserve in the first place and now we might see all of them starting their own ponzis to recoup their losses.

Oh boy... here we go!! :)

There's another crowd, the kind that hops on any new opportunity to try win back the money they lost. These are serial gamblers

This was thought up day 1 that it will eventually end.

They have set aside what they might need if not in cash then in seperate property under different registrations. The house they live in now is probably registered under different entity and they are only leasing it from the entity even though that entity is in fact operated by them self.

This is one insane conpiracy among so many other things.
