Had a nice laugh yesterday
Took lunch with senior council (Advocate) yesterday and we spoke a bit about MTI. He is a longtime family friend
Showed him a pic of senior management, He burst out laughing say " That looks like a chapter of Hells Angels MCC not a board of a finance investment company. He did mention off the record that if they cannot account for every penny (Crypto Included) they would not survive the inquiry. He also felt that the agents are also at great risk of imprisonment if the state wanted to make an example of them.

Education. I'm pretty sure people falling for this crap are the same ones believing every BS whatsapp message they receive.
Unless children are taught either in school or at home to be skeptical and not take everything at face value this will continue.

There seem to be some pretty educated people involved in MTI.

Skepticism and critical thinking are actually pretty difficult to teach. Can't parrot-learn those kinds of things, not really that helpful with matric exam prep.

And at least in many of the US scams, they are people who insist on homeschooling.

I see fat admission of guilt fines being dished out as a way to get the point across without having to prosecute and jail thousands.

I REALLY hope you are right. The worst culprits in my mind are the promoters/shills working their way to having long downlines. THEY are ones who weasel their way into family affairs and because "he is good old uncle so-and-so" or "she is Aunt Belinda's niece, you know the one who has done so well at 'varsity; she can advise us". They need to be slapped so hard that they will think very carefully before shilling dubious quick-money schemes

Cheri busted again.

In Cheri's voice note to the MTI members she claims that the BTC was transferred from FXChoice in 4 transactions over 4 days 21,22,23,24 August and the BTC amount was in excess of 16,000 BTC.

So I decided to check if this was true. I downloaded all the blocks for those days. Initially it looked quite possible. But most of the transactions on those days belonged to one wallet 19iqYbeATe4RxghQZJnYVFU4mjUUu76EA6 which is renBTC.

If I exclude the renBTC wallet and look at it again then there is not enough high value transactions left to build 4 transactions over 4 days in excess of 16,000BTC.

The maximum value they could have transferred over those 4 days would be: 15,333.36BTC
