I had a listen to the recorded call with Marinus Bell on dishonest.co.za.

So he basically said he will not touch his funds until they know if its a ponzi or not...........assume nobody at mti got the memo that there was not trading bot.

According to him there must be funds left and its not in JS "character" to just disapear and leaving his wife and child behind.

He is working tirelessly "sy vingers af" to get to the bottom of the story........maybe he must read mybb?

He said most of his withdrawls out of mti went back in.........not so sure.

Poverty and uneducated individuals will always be exponentially greater as the population worldwide increase.

There isn't even good will / finances / etc. to make sure everyone is at least educated up to a specific level outside of finances and if you want to include everyone to be equally educated in finances its an even greater unlikely possibility.

This is why we will continue worldwide to exponentially have "dumber" / "foolish" people that will overpopulate the world, just got to accept that as fact.

I don't agree that we are evolved enough at all. Our technological breakthroughs have surpassed our actual evolution and the individual is still pretty much borderline dumb as a rock.

I would liken humankind to what you would see elephants do in national reserve parks. If there is nothing that threatens them they will outstrip and completely out grow and destroy the entire park if no one intervene. Once they have destroyed the entire park and stripped out all the food supply they will effectively cause their own demise.

Well, yes, i didn't say the theory had been implemented worldwide.
I said that as a whole humanity has the tools to fix the problem.
That we don't boils down to the greed factor. It's less beneficial to the few to have better environmental policies, less corruption, and greater equality.
The masses that vote for the money are also the masses that suffer the consequences most.
I find it deeply distasteful that you're right. It hurts my idealism and really grates my chips that the survivors carry forward their genes of greed and selfishness and short-sightedness.

I hear where you are coming from but the reality is that there are so many of these schemes in circulation that never make the news. Which one do they pick. To date there have also been no convictions so its a tough one to report on in regards to liability. The FSCA exists to protect people and did issue a warning. Talking to a broad spectrum of "investors" I found the same outlook: they were oblivious and simply would not believe what I said.

I am deeply saddened by this disturbing true story and reading it together with news of the upcoming Carte Blanche feature, cannot help but to place some blame at Carte Blanche’s door as well as other exposé shows which were pleaded to help fight this evil.

If they had helped expose this Ponzi like so many here have begged them to do, then then this shattered family’s story may have been so different.

To now do this show for RATINGS after the fact, both angers and saddens me and I have to say, shame on you Carte Blanche, Devi and others who turned down this challenge when you could have actually made a difference to people's lives.

I for one will never support any of these shows again.

I agree wholeheartedly. I've been saying this too. It feels like a case of them waiting for the bubble to pop and then jumping in for the ratings. But I also said their ratings wouldn't be so great if they stopped the buggers from stealing the money.

To play devils advocate: MTI were exposed months ago in the worst possible way yet it still perpetuated.

A television show is for entertainment and whatever sensational story is presented on Carte Blanche dissipates into the 24 hour news cycle. The violence of action and the rule of law are tangible and effective means.

These motherfckers need to pay for what they have done to people. Every single one of them. Every single one.
The devastation they have caused is heartbreaking. I'll be the first one to admit and confess that I feel figs for greedy people. People like this guy who was completely desperate are another story.
But, vultures like the people at the top of this scheme are psychopaths/sociopaths who don't care about others feelings.
What they haven't worked out is that the day you die you get carried out like the rest of us and put in a box/cremated. no money goes with you. no worldly possessions.

The law has got to step up here and do something about this. Find a way to put a stop to every single one of these people.
