I'd stick to South America personally if I had to leave Brazil (can confirm with absolute certainty the Dec Q&A clip he was in Brazil)
I have also been wondering if he still is in Brazil. There are pro's and con's of almost any of the South American countries and once having left RSA he could easily move on to the hideaways in the Caribbean.

European/Eastern European countries would be another part of the world with numerous opportunities if you have enough money.

I don't think North Africa is much of a likely candidate. Westerners stand out even in Morocco or Egypt where there were (in pre-COVID times) numbers of tourists. Morocco would make quite a good staging post for getting to southern Europe. Trying to settle down unobtrusively for a long stay is not easy. Lebanon would be my chosen southern/eastern Mediterranean place of refuge, but that is because I know enough of it to be able to kind of wriggle into a niche. Furthermore, there is an active market for and using cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin. The Emirates (and particularly Dubai) is the only really feasible part of the Middle East for a Westerner to arrive, settle and blend in. However, Dubai is working hard to become a trusted financila hub, so they are becoming less tolerant of financial dodgers coming into the country. Added to this is that the Emirates has very effective surveillance systems.

So in my mind there are still many places to which he could have moved. Of course, he could also be hopping around. We need a trace on Nerina. From what has been written here, it seems that he and she might not have broken up, so at some time there will be communication between them.

East Europa. Places like Romania are good safe havens for scammers to keep luxury cars such as porches, lambos (you name it), and criminal goods and evasion of laws. If you are a career criminal, that place is heaven. However we have strong reason to believe he will never go there. Why? He would have been caught already by someone if he was in Europe.

However, I do think @PsyWulf is on the dot with South America. I also think somewhere in Africa (I mean a nice desolate farm away from society in Africa only using satellite internet and laundered crypto to buy things would not be too bad of an undercover lifestyle for the criminal scum ) or even South Africa could be a possibility. If the legal authorities don't crack down on him hard in SA, he will actually be very safe in South Africa. It is interesting that the law protects financial criminals so well from the public. Let us hope he does not escape. I don't think he would be safe in Mauritius if South African people will actively search for him. I do think he will eventually get caught if the government will power is there. There might be a probability (but I won't say this happened) that he is already been tracked down.

Disclaimer: I don't have any insider info, I am just throwing random guesses.

TLDR. I am speculating just as much as anyone else and also want him arrested ASAP.

Off topic slightly: Shared a beer the other day with one of their ex drug squad officers. Sounds like lots of eyes there. I myself would not hide in the Caribbean. I would do what I know someone did when he had a warrant out. Parked his car across from the station. Took him 3 days to get caught because who would ever look there. Not I.

I am avoiding this spotlight on Nienie simply for the fact that its entirely based on what Mrs Cheri Ward has said and I also note a lot of energy exerted from their petting zoo attempting to demonize this lady. A pick pocket will grab your wrist while they lift your wallet out your back pocket.

I wonder how long these scammers will be in prison for? I hope a very long time.

Only asking this because I saw that Jordan Belfort (Wolf of Wall Street) only did like 22 months in jail for his crimes.
Woah cowboy. We still waiting for arrests from btc global 3 years ago

Then we still have trials. Possible convictions, and appeals.

"petting zoo" - That's a new one for that bunch of scum! Like it!
Indeed hiding right under the eyes of all searching for you is a good contrarian move. For me, that is why Nienie is important, not because Cheri's a%$el&%k$#s have been promoting the idea that she has been central to the scheme.

Just a bit of reality checking on a Saturday evening for MTI investors awaiting recovery of stolen bitcoin by liquidation etc. The crypto exchange Mt. Gox went bankrupt in 2014. On Tuesday holders of lost bitcoin were offered 90% of the value of bitcoin THAT CAN BE RECOVERED. Anyone hoping for their bitcoin from liquidation of MTI had better be patient and put in place plans to survive for some time before being offered cents in the rands.

I'm happy to see that witnesses will be brought forward to add to the trial, as well as request info from banks.

Or am i getting my hopes up?
I have been told there is a large firm, not publicly listed as to being engaged in this matter, but actively looking at numbers. I don't want to say who for various reasons. Right now I think the state has a problematic case but hopefully one or two of them cashed out some BTC.

If you were in either of the Anons leaks and you have nothing better to do you can contact Cloudflare advising them as such and requesting the contact details for their client in order to lodge a formal complaint. Employ the words "my PII has been leaked which poses a threat to my privacy". Should work and you then have Harvey The Rabbits aka "Admin" contact details. Another piece of the puzzle for the impassioned amongst us.
