On a serious note now, who do you contact to shut down fraudulent FB groups?
It appears to be mission impossible unless you can prove someone called a pigeon a duck or the owner is a US president.
Your advice would be greatly appreciated

Lol, the funny stuff is that Facebook have banned people and removed comments of those trying to sell me stuff (that cr@p of pay $50 for your future told!). So quick...reported a guy for an inherently racist comment. FB: Not a chance sir, that comment isn't racist at all. GUy got away with it.

Maybe someone said that MTI Scammers group was a bunch of salespeople all trying to sell to each other. Boom! The Ban Hammer came down.

Perhaps I just have not found anything, but I haven't been able to find Nerina listed anywhere EXCEPT in the attempts to deflect blame. Admittedly, it can be argued that she must have known all about MTI, but she doesn't seem to have had any official role. The sum of all Cheri's lies will make quite a list.

don't forget Zoom (all those fun training videos/webinars)
The whole YouTube, Facebook, zoom thing is taking it a bit far. Let’s ban vodacom and mtn and the cars they drove to the meeting blah blah blah. If MTI is found to be illegal then take issue with zoom or YouTube etc - up until that time it’s problematic.

The naked truth is that Facebook facilitated the success of the MTI scam to a massive extend and should therefore be held liable to losses incurred by unsuspecting victims.
Nope. Gullibe people, and "cognitive ease" and good lies caused MTI's scam to extend, and propagate.

They may as well have placed ads in the newspaper. Or mailed letters to each other.

We can't moderate word-of-mouth, interpersonal messages, and open communications. That would go against free-speech principles, and would amount to Nazi control of press, communications and media.

But sure, we can watch the watchers, and report bad stuff...

Absolutely. ALL the social media platforms were used, so one can't single out a few and not others.

Much more importantly, we have complained loud and long when we have been blocked. Just because we are on the side of the angels doesn't mean that we are the only ones who can use social media platforms to further our agenda (absolutely good and honourable as it might be). Indeed MTI used Facebook, YouTube, Zoom, Telegram, WhatsApp etc to further their scamming. They also did it very well. But it was these platforms that helped us and the others who have been trying to counter MTI propaganda to get MTI where it is now. Let's leave the double-standards to Cheri, Pieter Muller, Rich Simmonds, Joel and all the other scum.

Zoom is a different story because it is private but FB and sorts should be required to do proper KYC once groups reach a certain number of members and / or messages.
For those who were thinking about KFC
That’s a different group
