Im totally with you. I had a guy who sent money to a telegram bot, all the bot says is deposit to this address and i will give you 4% in a week, i lost it and asked the guy if he was an idiot (yes he was), and i got schooled by the rest of the group for being a ****. Sad to say but too many dof people aroundConfessions of a grown man...
I have joined multiple Face Book investment and scam awareness groups in the last couple of months to try and help people identify and avoid scams. I am flabbergasted with the stupid questions, low levels of awareness and lack of accountability for things going wrong. It's mind-blowing that people will give money to strangers on the internet based purely on what they claim is possible (many proudly claim to have been scammed by the same people multiple times - WTF!!).
Even more scary is that 30 seconds of reviewing a profile or googling the proposal / company name makes it obvious how simple the scam is.
Makes me realise that trying to stop these scams is almost a mugs game, how will we possibly educate millions of people that can't be bothered to even check the most simple things? So frustrating and a little scary.
Makes me wonder how humans have progressed to this point... haha
