I was talking about exactly this with a friend the other day...

Without morals or conscience it really does seem to be quite easy to generate incredible income in nefarious ways, I guess ultimately it’s a reason why these things are considered to be crimes as it’s not only the ill effects that they can cause but the level at which they can be adopted that is actually quite a big problem.

Ultimately though, it’s quite difficult to execute on an idea in a way that makes a success out of it most especially if you are reaching into the billions through your execution.

Have said it before and will say it again, these folks are very good at what they do, seasoned professionals... People should remember that when it hits the fan because I wouldn’t be surprised if they found some way to weasel themselves out of any wrong-doing and continue on as if nothing ever happened.
The type of person that believes what mti is selling will be the same type who believes the banks hated them and closed them down after they lose all their savings.

And in terms of blind following, its the mentality to never question, i irritate people because i dont just accept what they say, i question it all. But in some circles questioning what others have told you is frowned upon.

I mean MLM isn't illegal as such. It might closely resemble a pyramid scheme in some aspects, but it's possible to do Herbalife or Tupperware or Amway without being a crook.

This OTS software does seem to be inclined towards the dodgy ones though.

MTI most definitely is illegal because (even if everything else about them was legit ) they are promising returns of more than 20% over the South African REPO rate.

Doesn't help... that example of ask someone for a R200 note,
take out a calculator and go 200+100, hit equals and show them on the screen they now have R300 holds true.

I've said to a number of people that just because a screen shows you have "0.1122121 BTC" doesn't mean you actually do (this actually is true for ANY instance where you don't hold the private keys to the wallet... even an exchange... look at KuCoin, it was hacked... everyone's BTC / coins are potentially gone).

I see some shilly peeps posting how they have "full control of their wallet and can withdraw WHENEVER they choose". The truth is MTI holds the private keys and is therefore in control, you REQUEST a withdrawal from them and then they go and send the BTC to your chosen wallet... at ANY point they can close the taps.
It is totally hopeless arguing with desperate fools.

The bottom line is whether or not they are really trading. They will have to produce evidence from a registered broker if they end in court, otherwise they are taking money under false pretenses because they are offering growth via trading.

I have no doubt the best legal team in South Africa will have no difficulty with this task. (I do remember that like Cheri wrote somewhere that Clynton was the best programmer in the country)

To be honest, is actually is. Its like gun manufacturers, they dont use the product to shoot people, they just make it. So that is why its legal there and elsewhere.
That is why in almost all cases where the schemers are ever given any sort of real punishment is when the scheme crashes and affected members open proceedings against the originators and managers of the scheme. That is why the attorney representing affected parties will be very glad to hear that Willie Breedt is AGAIN involved in a crypto scam.

Good grief...just watch this. MTI is just a vaguely more sophisticated version of this BS.
