Using words such as, ‘uh,’ ‘like’ and ‘um’: The research conducted at the University of Michigan found “speaking with more vocal fill” to be a common indicator of deception. People tend to use these words more when they’re trying to buy time to figure out what they’re going to say next.

Only counting JS responding to the 6 questions... Ummm x 80...

You can probably double that if you count the other clown's... Unfortunately I refuse to watch that BS again...

A video like that could cost over 100k...well i guess its chump change if all the “shareholders” pitch in...

Still it gets into my head when i think “if theyre making a video, how long will this kak still last? How long will I have to restrain my temper to keep me from burning bridges with my family”

But its probably just that: perception is reality...they want to create an image of longevity, especially during the last money grabbing phase, to ensure the investors stay comfortable

That video is just random stock footage, probably royalty free music and Cheri talking over it. Probably cost R1000 if even.

Once upon a time, JS would take questions from "random" members of the audience... When the questions got tricky he'd give a long winded story about how in his past xyz happened and blah blah blah but completely not relative to the question that was asked... That made me laugh at the time but it really was a big red flag...

Anyways, I put in the chat awkward questions about the FSCA and audited financials... My questions never were answered and that was 8 months ago so it's not surprising they no longer take actual questions :)

I wonder who the "Steven Twain" of MTI is going to be?
Or will it be the "Russian Hackers" or "Huawei 5G technology" that will make off with the loot.
I still laugh at the BTC Global devotees wishing "Steven Twain" gets well after he was "robbed". It's a bit like a house robber tripping over the coffee table and the victims pick him up, apologise and genuinely feel sorry for him.

R100k? No no, they shop on fiverr this was relatively cheap.

Anyways, of course she is making a new video... She has to try out a new "marketing consultant" on fiverr as the last ones decided that it's against their principals (and rightfully so, good bunch them twins) to make any videos with them anymore...

Probably the unregulated broker, or the actual owner of the super-bot.

I wouldn't generalise - I am pretty sure there are plenty of English speaking people involved in starting and running ponzi's too!

I believe a lot of the people on here fighting against MTI is also Afrikaans speaking...?

I would like to believe that most Afrikaans speaking people are people who "trust more" and could therefore be the ideal victims of scams.

I also believe that a mentality of "classifying" people based on Language, religion and all kinds of other characteristics we are all too familiar with does no-one any good. Rather look at the individual - irrespective of which "group" they belong to.

Quoted below from a journal published by the American Psychological Association

"A summary and analysis of previous investigations led to the following conclusions: People who trust more are less likely to lie and are possibly less likely to cheat or steal. They are more likely to give others a second chance and to respect the rights of others. The high truster is less likely to be unhappy, conflicted, or maladjusted, and is liked more and sought out as a friend more often, by both low-trusting and high-trusting others. When gullibility is defined as naiveté or foolishness and trust is defined as believing others in the absence of clear-cut reasons to disbelieve, then it can be shown over a series of studies that high trusters are not more gullible than low trusters. (17 ref) (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved) "

I feel like you're onto something there...

My own observation is that the Afrikaans people that I know are indeed very genuine and kind hearted people but also tend to be very close to their family and friends in a way that I don't often see in the English side of the community.

I think the same could be said about people who are religious too, seem to be more inclined to have stronger bonds with their own family and friends than people who are not or not very religious.

I think that bond / relationship and the trust that is developed may end up causing a negative effect when it comes to getting involved in these types of things.

I shudder to think of how this will eventually destroy at least some of the relationships and bonds that people have developed over the years... Basically going to wreck families, friendships and ruin peoples lives as a result... Kind of sick seeing as how they (MTI) actively promote the betterment of ones personal situation?
