Well, I suppose don't make it obvious that you have the answers, lol. Ask who are in charge of the company, and if Cheri's name is mentioned, say "hang on a second, why does that name sound familiar?". A quick bit of fake googling and you come back with "ummm, she was at the top of the BTC Global bitcoin scam".

When they start talking about profits, ask them how compound interest works. Hopefully they'll actually give you a correct answer, at which point you can do a quick little bit of maths and point out how this "investment" couldn't be sustained.

For teachers and presenters, the hardest questions to answer are those that are simple and to which the questioner apparently doesn't know the answer. [In the realm of "A fool can ask a question a wise man cannot answer."]
Hopefully you can get her to either not answer (then you look confused, make "hmmm" noises and look around) or give an answer that gets people thinking. You should be able to discomfort her but not alienate everyone else.

Me too!! Damn, I should have invested at the start and got out last week. I could now view their coming financial distress as just a way that I can look good helping them out.

I thought of making a website to archive the data in this thread. There is a ton of useful information getting lost in conversation. I realized how huge in scope it is, because of the many different scams, different players involved. Its pretty much too much work for one person to do. So I was thinking of creating a wiki around all this data. Would anyone be interested in contributing to a wiki around all these scammers and their scams?

I remember reading about the mortifying experiences James Hetfield from Metallica had as a child in his church.



They were Christian scientists...those who believe only God must cure without assistance from medicine or healthcare providers.



So one day in his Sunday school a girl stood up and gave her testimony about God healing her broken arm. He said that he stared in horror at the twisted shape her arm had taken, yet she believed her arm looked exactly as before.



So I have family members who have bought ridiculous cars, bling, etc with their mti “yield” telling us how God has provided for them in their time of need...and every time they show us how beautiful their newest piece of unnecessary bs is, all I can see are mangled arms and old people’s pensions.



It’s come to a point now where I am not sure if I want to allow them into our house anymore, although I know (you have to know these people to get it) they believe it’s legit. Honestly, I obviously want justice to be served and reality to sink in, but those 2 aspects are somehow not the main reasons I cant stand to be around them. It’s the chilling, stomach churning horror story of being around the bling they bought with other’s last-hope money. The “mangled arms” they refer to as their “blessings from God”

That lurch you get after you've pointed out suicides and broken families and the new convert bleats, "It's their choice - they knew the risks."

The data actually shows it's not exponential growth. Rate of return is dropping at a roughly linearly.

I think the Uber-bot is running out of steam. Red line is a 20 period moving average.
