So marketing steps up, Hmmm wonder why.
A good friend at Macquarie Bank was telling me that if the so called Bot could perform like they claim, they would not need depositors, The banks and the professional fund managers would take up all the capacity. My friend was saying it does not make sense that the uber bot owners would place it in the hands of total amateurs View attachment 933329
I would literally die if I had to listen to all this... Kek...3x a day...

The way this is worded I could make a good argument that the recruiters are offering financial advice, Oh well perhaps he/she is a licenced financial advisor ;)
In a pig's ear is s/he licensed. But these sorts of mistakes are lovely because there are so many of them from different MTI shills that they basically confirm that things are not above-board.

Teeka Tiwari is a MASSIVE scammer.

Just google him or find multiple videos on youtube about his ongoing scams. He is also heavily promoted by Brian Rose and if you research Brian Rose you will have a good laugh ie. He is now running a new scam to collect funds to run for Mayor of London. HAHAHA

He is now deep into crypto scams with his "5 coins to 5 million" wtfever that is supposed to mean but hey it sounds fancy to the stupid.

Palm Beach Confidential is the lamest weakest random spewed investment advice imaginable. They moved into the crypto sphere few years ago and their general advice is worse than a coin flip. They also charge a hefty fee to get the "high gain" insights.

Yes apparently just 250 American rubles can get you in on his amazing new trading bot that will increase your money 2768% in the next 7 years. Imagine that. Maybe someone should tell MTI to invest all their BTC with HIS crypto bot....wait...oh yep....I smell an exit strategy coming on here.

And they keep using the word "interest" when they are talking about capital gains. I suppose it doesn't matter what you call imaginary returns.
Interest is what you get from loaning money. Capital gains is the profit from the appreciation of an asset. Profits from MTI (assuming there is real trading with obviously there isn't) is just income, and should be reported as such on one's tax return.

So if 6163 BTC has been withdrawn from 14 Sept, and most likely there was at most 7331 BTC left on 14 Sept (according to anonymous_za) then unless they are managing to recruit a lot of new idiots there can't be much left. And don't forget the costs for all the tumbling of funds to hide the "broker" from pesky are they really trading questions. That certainly explains the massive recruitment drive that's underway.

We need some content contributors too: https://dishonest.co.za/doku.php?id=mti

If you have 30min, or an hour over the weekend to add a meaningful contribution, please PM @ghoti to obtain a login.

Your contribution might convince someone currently on the wall NOT to invest their life savings or retirement annuity into MTI
A suggestion: Keep your opening paragraph somewhat neutral and just giving facts. I can't stand MTI but this wording still got my hackles up....
It is an investment scheme where members entrust a fictional artificial intelligence trading bot to produce returns. MTI claims that this magical bot trades in crypto and forex. Members of this scheme are also encouraged and financially incentivized to receive bonus payouts if they recruit more members to join under them
Especially if you're punting this as a Wiki.

A suggestion: get off your fat ass, use your superior writing skills and come edit the page so it comes across as a well rounded wiki.

The wiki is in desperate need of additional contributors, the few there now can only do so much.

I have a bit of time to contribute but not much knowledge except what came from this thread, and my own skepticism.

Would there be value in maintaining a list of MTI's claims, vs some logic?

e.g.
  • MTI claims all the bitcoin is in cold storage and brokers offer credit for training.
    • But no broker in their right minds would do that, as they expose themselves to an insane amount of risk.
  • MTI claims that several (unregulated) brokers are used, for "diversification"?
    • But their so-called "live" trading video appears to show a single account with their entire claimed bitcoin holdings, which would refute this claim.
  • MTI claims that they have exclusive access to a proprietary bot which shows consistent daily returns.
    • Anyone with experience of trading knows that such consistent positive returns are essentially impossible.
    • The creator of such a bot would hardly need to share it with anyone else, they could become rich by themselves.
    • Even if such a bot existed, with the extent of MTI's claimed assets under management, consistent returns would be impossible because they would move the market. There would be no one to take the other side of the trade in order for MTI's bot to actually make a profit.

I'd need help maintaining the list though, because my own knowledge of trading and cryptocurrencies is somewhat superficial at best.

MTI stated that they do not fall under any regulation of the FSCA due to trading I cryptocurrency. When the regulations come in place they will comply with that. For now they do not need to comply. This was stated by Cheri Marks on her radio interview and social media posts.

Not sure if this is on the list as yet
