The very fact that you can both recognize and admit to having a confirmation bias is fantastic, because it's the first step in figuring out why you have that bias in the first place. Unfortunately Musk is not just "ignoring the real truth" or "thinking wishfully", he is plainly lying about the Hyperloop even though he knows it is not physically or feasibly possible and continues to sell his BS to unsuspecting investors. Maybe not Cheri level but he's a scammer as well.
