When I started watching the video, I thought "meh, its just a glider." Then as the clip progressed, they admitted as much that that was indeed the case on the first few tries. Later on though there was a clip of a short sustained flight, that was cool to see. Exciting stuff for the surveillance and/or mapping drone industry to work on. That's the most suitable application for this that I can think of.

No doubt still a way to go to include any substantial payload...

Pretty cool - soon we will be making our own UFOs. Then we just need to send them back in time to scare some rednecks.
They just need to decide if a battery qualifies as a battery or not.
