Do these ROMS support South African Frequency bands? TheThug mentioned further up about maybe needing a new Radio file or something? Sorry about all the questions...I just want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row.

I didn't have to, but in some install guides (try the official website's forum) they do give you other radios you can flash if the one that came with the ROM didn't work.

@Elimentals:
Thanks, I'll give that a go.

On Radio's:

Don't worry about it, only time you need to start looking for other radio's is if the ROM you use causes your calls to drop or WiFi suffers some performance issues. You can later when you happy with your phone or really want to tinker try and find the radio that squeezes the most out of your battery.

Normally I would advise the not so informed to rather try other MIUI roms instead of flashing the radio as well. In my DHD's case I find that the MIUI.us builds are the best.

Cool...thanks man. I am downloading the MUIAndroid.com rom. Their website is pretty :) Of course now that I want to download it 8ta decided to be a biets. Speed is only about 30Kbs. Another 30 - 60 minutes remaining. Will go for a shower and shave in the meantime. I will post here as I start doing it. I hope you guys will still be here if I should run into problems. :)

No need for that dude, you could have used Virtual box and a Emu with USB share ;)

Or you could have just followed This guide but using the Android SDK for Linux...
