MIUI can boot to recovery when you select the reboot option. Just Press Power button till power off options appear.
Thats only with the MIUI.US. Galnet and the UK one does not have it

I recently upgraded my one contract and got an iPhone 4 on it. It's not all that bad to use on a daily basis, to be honest. I got a TwinCall SIM option from VC and use my SGS and I4 as the mood hits me. There are many many many quality apps in the iTunes App Store. More so than Android, I have to (regrettably) admit. Still, you have a lot more freedom to change the look and feel of your Android device than you do an iPhone.
so i downloaded the update on my phone 83mb again , when flash update will this delete app and other settings on my phone , im going to use cwm to do update i know it was said one doesnt have to update every week but want to try this one to see what happens ?

Where do you get that mod? Running Chameleon RC2 i didn't have that option.

Did you not run the update from your phone?
no not the same time i downloaded it is on my phones sdcard so was wondering if i could do it like that or not , or just detel the download and start over ?

I am not sure. I can't remember what folder the updates go in when doing it form the phone. I can check when i get home.

It's downloaded_rom on the root of the sdcard.

He should be able to just put the rom in that folder than upgrade it right?
Since its just an upgrade of the same ROM he is running?

Could work, also the naming of it might affect the update app seeing it. Like
MIUI.us_ace_1.9.2_Eng_Deo_ZipA_Signed.zip

If i want to flash the latest MIUI US rom (1.9.2), do i need to wipe anything or can i simply flash from recovery?
