MK vets will guard Nkandla to 'protect president Zuma', says Carl Niehaus

A “platoon” of military veterans will maintain a “constant presence” outside former president Jacob Zuma's Nkandla homestead to “protect him”.

This is according to uMkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans Association (MKMVA) spokesperson Carl Niehaus, speaking to SowetanLIVE sister publication TimesLIVE after a marathon meeting between the association and the former president on Thursday.

Niehaus said the meeting, which lasted more than seven hours, “went very well”. He said there was an in-depth discussion on the “current state of affairs in SA”, and they spoke “in detail” about Zuma's defiance of a Constitutional Court order compelling him to appear at the state capture commission.

“In the meeting, he reiterated that he definitely will not go to the commission,” said Niehaus.

Not right now, no. It looks like they plan to but that hasn't happened yet.
Yeah... Pretty much all hinges on if an arrest warrant is issued for Jacob and the Saps are instructed to enforce it to ensure his appearance.... Granted mk's intention to possibly obstruct justice are the least of our worries in this whole debacle but still.

Oh well.. Let's see how big that platoon is when they start getting arrested as well.... I reckon 90% of them are total cowards and run for the hills.
Well, whoever does the arrest will have to be quick. Zuma does a pretty good job of offing MKs himself.

Hums to the tune of Quadro ...

He doesn't have people to dig holes for him at this point so he would struggle to off them quite so fast this time.
