Would rather live with the GTi, but would take the ST over the GTi... if that makes sense.

Lol for the number plate derail.

Where is the Clio RS? Still to quick for the Polo and Fiesta?

Well obviously if the car is yellow it would match better.

Who buys a yellow car though?

Tbh you don't sound like a car enthusiast if you are questioning who buys a yellow car when the yellow car in question very much appeals to an enthusiast. I will say that certain colours just work well on certain cars. Case in point being Electric Orange for the 2.5t Focus ST.The signature color of the Megane R26 is Liquid Yellow.

I am guessing then by your view then that the Phoenix Yellow E46 M3 was not a looker? It surely was in high demand hey...

Obviously a yellow Datsun Go or VW UP will prob looking mildly crappy in yellow.

The only car I've ever seen that looks halfway decent in yellow is the Gallardo, and maybe at a stretch the Ferrari F430. Rest are all .

I'm very much an enthusiast...I just think yellow is generally a bad colour for a car and doesn't work for the Renault.

Electric Orange works on the Focus ST as it does on most Lambo's. Even yellow works on Lambo's but wouldn't be my first choice.

Phoenix Yellow on the M3 wasn't pure yellow and almost leaned towards green. A very unique colour especially back then and I did like it.

But it was just a flippant comment in general, basically saying who buys a Renault.

****

The E90(?) for instance above that you posted that yellow is okayish but wouldn't be my first choice. That funky blue BMW have now would be more to my liking.

Obviously wouldn't say no if it was free though.

The S3 also works as it's a bit more subdued and almost faded. I just think the Renault one is a bit garish and almost too gold and not yellow enough.

Noted; glad we cleared that up

Maybe these blue ones work

That's more like it.

Love the shape of that Veloster and the coupe one side family car other side. Just wish it was more car.

Oddly enough the Veloster looks quite good in its yellow.

actually, the Phoenix Gold M3 may have initially been in high demand, but as the market matured this colour no longer appealed, laguna seca blue, steel grey and alpine white are sort after these days- the Phoenix Gold M3s are the most difficult to sell.
