Nope, the facelift was also 2.5L 5 cyl. The 2.0L 4 cyl only came in Gen 3 Focus. (Current shape).

They changed a few things, software for one. The factory wouldnt admit to it, but we saw the results on the dyno. Stock facelift does mid +/- 155 wkw where stock pre-facelift only did mid 130's.

The irony is that Opel SA made a car 25 years ago that is probably faster (in a straight line and circuit) than all of these cars, and its a 2.0l naturally aspirated car with no power steering, ABS or clever gearboxes- thats how backward Opel has gone in terms of performance.

well the Opel Superboss does a quarter mile time of 14.7, thats a standard car

I doubt there are any official lap times except for the group N racing but it outran the e30 325is in those races which had the e30 M3 suspension, regarded as one of the best.
