Though to your point I agree, safety has hampered performance. Performance still marches on though, and while we like to remember cars of yesteryear fondly, often our memories are a bit rose-coloured.

Well safety and fuel economy.

I'd love to the Superboss do a like for like engine power output while also maintaining the same levels of fuel economy as modern cars.

Not going to happen.
