Forcing someone to sit with a dirty mask on their face all day doesn't do anything. It probably makes it worse.

There is no way we can do mask correctly on mass.
okay then maybe if they can just stop those mass super-spreader events of teenagers rubbing their sweaty faces at eachother. At least bring the number down amongst the young. Then again if they don't get it bad I don't really care if they get it lol, its just more immunity to spread around.
Problem is when they wake up from their hangover the next day and go kiss Grandma good morning and she's dead by the end of the week.....

Can you please explain how the number of tests is manufactured? No-one is forcing people to take a covid-19 test unless you have an operation at a hospital (a very small proportion of overall tests).
They are now testing all the contacts of the rage parties.

Most of whom probably don't have symptoms and wouldn't have tested otherwise.

From the people I know there they are testing but on a very very small capacity. Its more for testing prior to admissions or if you pitch up at a hospital looking like death warmed up.
So yeah, testing is less but it seems death cases aren't that bad either, considering they were one of the countries people said would be wiped off the map by COVID...
Don't forget Mozambique and most other African countries that just aren't testing. Have they been wiped out yet? Their hospitals probably collapsed years ago already so they won't be swamped by a virus.

Why? Young people getting sick doesn't put our hospitals at risk.

You can keep your distance from young people if you wish to take precautions.

This is just wrong on so many levels, not allowing teenagers the opportunity to get laid :crying:

And this is the problem, in the old days you quarantined the sick and the risky. Now lets rather lock every one. Why would a teenager wake up and go kiss grandma if she was quaranting safely at home?
If she's living in the same house well than unfortunately she'd still have to isolate herself from the rest of the family or take the risk.

No one said that the test was 100% accurate, in fact some say it's not anywhere near 70% accurate - so statistically, it's possible :) Also, does your conspiracy then mean that every government in the world is in on it? That's big man.. almost big as flat earth...

You believe they cant be, isn't that naive?
We keep hearing how governments are using this crisis to drive an agenda. I'm still trying to work out how it benefits governments to wreck economies, create massive unemployment while eroding their tax base...
You believe the people in government are in it for the long haul and not to get rich and get out?

Nonsense man. State hospitals was already in a state of collapse. I have lost family to incompetent state hospitals before COVID

If a mask makes you happy wear one. I don't care.

Excessively sanitizing is bad for you, but if it makes you happy do it.
Medical journal record of excessively sanitising your hands as proof please...

That said, if you're excessively sanitizing your hands, you're out and about ALL the time. Then you're doing it wrong.

We're in a pandemic every year. A pandemic is the worldwide spreading of a disease... This is literally what happens every year.
What was the last big pandemic that spread? I forgot what 2019 and 2018's versions were...;-)

Like chemo, for cancer treatments. Sanitizer is non selective. It just kills everything.

You need the good stuff and you need the bad stuff to build an immunity

But like I said, if you go out to the point you are having to excessively sanitize, then you're doing it wrong.

No, but the murderer can keep murdering. I concede that the R0 factor isn't as high I guess.
160 documented cases of serial killing since 1950. The most prolific being Moses Sithole, guilty of 38 murders. The most recent active serial killer was in KZN, guilty of 5 murders.

The last two days have seen 325 deaths attributed to Covid. I doubt in human history - outside of a warzone; suicide attack; death camp or death squad - has one person killed 325 people in two days.

We are not really comparing apples here.

Are there articles about sanitizer yet and if it has any long-term effects? I mean i basically spray the stuff on anything and everything.

Just do a quick search, high alcohol percentages can damage certain plastics, rubber and other synthetic surfaces over time.
Oh, and it is flammable, but I am sure you know that.

Proper sanitiser is 70% and above?

I distill and make sure I use nothing but glass, copper, stainless steel in the process.

The flu, every year it spreads world wide.
A pandemic is the spread of a disease worldwide, it doesn't have anything to do with the death rate or anything. They are calling COVID and pandemic because it's spread everywhere. So please remember pandemic hasn't got anything to do with how deadly a virus is.

Yeah you shouldn't do that. That is overly excessive, perhaps just use soap and water? Wash your hands before prepping food should prevent any spread there (like anyone should be doing anyway).
Wash your surfaces with handy andy or sunlight, wash your hands when you get home. Spraying everything with alcohol all the time isn't a good idea, I mean just look at how dry and cracked your hands can get from one shopping spree.

We only use sanitizer when and if we have to go out. Good old soap and water at home does the trick.
