DA put all in on the a Gupta stooge beating CR for the ANC nomination and when CR won a decade of work went down the drain.
Pretty much. They've always relied on someone else fscking up rather than taking any initiative.

It's evident in the way they tried reporting CR to the public protector. The same public protector they don't believe is fit for office...

I'm impressed that he left peacefully. I thought he was going to fight to the death like auntie Pat.

Its a bit of everything, really.

Sure they focused too much on Zuma, but at the same time this new woke, race as a proxy crew within the DA was diametrically opposed to the DA's core roots of classical liberalism and equity.

Its ironic that they accuse Zille and her support base as racist and right-wing when the faction now running away is the one that started with the identity politics.

Yes. My good men, let us trash wives of the leaders now. Brought up rather well I see.
To be fair, Mmusi did throw his own wife under the bus by stating that she's a beneficiary of white privilege. He did this whilst trying to curry populist favour when speaking to a crowd.

Mmusi referred to Mashaba as "Comrade" when he spoke during Mashaba's resignation. It'll be hard to convince me that he's not been dabbling in the writings of the late Karl Marx. But a move to the EFF? Nah, he'll probably join the ACDP or, at worst, the ANC.

They spent most of the run up to the election trying to get rid of De Lille and infighting so not much a surprise that they did so badly. And yes the CR factor caught them with their pants down and the right wing voter base went back to the FF+ because the DA adopted identity politics as if that was anything new.

He sounds so stupidly scripted with his 'one SA for all' mantra, sometimes he just slots it in unnecessarily ...

I need to smoke a lot of the good stuff to believe that.

I personally could never figure out the DA.
They were Zuma bashers for years, but I could never figure out their own plan and direction and patiently waited, and still waiting for it.
Now there is no Zuma, so they fell into disarray. They need to come clean on their plans for addressing inequality in the country and their way forward.

It is new.

Show me anywhere in history where the DA or its precursors positioned themselves as a minority party?

It was always a liberal party built on the concept of equity. Mmaimane's crew is the one that fvcked it from the inside with the race stuff.

Laugh all you want. I'm speaking the truth that everyone so conveniently sidesteps... Bedrock DA supporters do not want black people in leadership positions and the IRR made that very clear recently.

Cool story bro... you know when you look for demons, you find them. And you have been convinced by the likes of guptas et al that if the DA get into power, apartheid will be brought back... you need to get your tinfoil hat off and see that all the race division that is being spread, is by parties like the anc and eff, because fear is a much more effective tool at getting people to vote for you....
