MNET Analogue & DStv Output

I would appreciate help on the following:

Can the output of an MNET analogue decoder be combined with the output of a DStv decoder, and fed over one coaxial cable to another TV where you can tune to MNET and to which ever channel the DStv decoder is tuned to seperately - i.e TV channel 1 = MNET; TV Channel 2 = DStv Channel?

Yes, assuming both decoders have RF outputs and at least one has RF input (it usually has an RF input if it has an RF output) then just run e.g. the DSTV decoder's RF output into the MNET decoder's RF input. Just ensure that the MNET and DSTV decoders' RF output frequencies are different. Also, depending on how many terrestrial towers you pick up, you may have to adjust one or both until you find an "open" frequency.

For long RF cable runs using the lowest frequency or channel number for the rf output will result in lower cable losses and thus a less snowy picture.

Ajax. That's a complicated answer. The short anser is "yes".
Just call Multicrap and ask them to take the Mnet off the DStv and put it on your analogue Mnet decoder.

Tru ask multichoice to split your m-net signal to your decoder. Connect Antenna, if you got an antenna and sat dish, to Mnet decoder, rf output to dstv rf input, rf output frm dstv to tv. Thats how i got myne to work and can watch mnet on one channel DSTV on another.
