As I am still on hold, I was just wondering if anyone knows what is required to port your number.

Would have asked an unfriendly Vodacom service agent, but they are not answering. Have to get this done today or I have to wait another month.

Does anyone know if portability will be running on Friday the 10'th? I really hope so, because my Mtn number will be disconnected on Monday the 13'th. I'm porting from mtn contract to voda prepaid.

Porting from postpaid to prepaid you require a valid green ID, port request form and the donor network account number.

All prepaid port identity details will be captured to prepare for RICA legislation.
